Contact wheels are usually used on Abrasive belt machines, at the
point of grinding, and have a major influence on the rate at which material is
removed from the work piece and the resultant finish.

In general terms the harder the wheel,the coarser the groove, and the coarser
the grit size of the belt the greater the stock removal. Conversely the softer
the wheel, the smoother its surface and the finer the belt the better the
surface finish of the workpiece.

Morrisflex offers an extensive range of wheels in four materials
[Rubber, Polyurethane, Foam and Canvas Vane ] and varying
degrees of hardness. The hubs of the wheels are either Aluminium or steel and an
